I support removing barriers between provinces — but after reading the agreement, I believe it falls well short of genuine free trade.

It still permits provincial liquor board markups, registrations, fees and administrative requirements on Canadian products sold to Canadian consumers.

We can do better.

British Columbia and Ontario could lead by creating a reciprocal market for wines made from 100% Canadian-grown grapes — supporting Canadian grape growers, wineries, workers, tourism and consumers.

This is about offering a solution, not simply identifying a problem.
