At Lightning Rock, our tastings are designed for connection, not correction.

Whether it’s your first tasting or your fiftieth, our team keeps it relaxed, approachable, and memorable. We’ll guide you through 5+ of our current releases with vineyard stories, food pairing ideas, and a few laughs along the way. No complicated notes, no pressure to buy, just good wine, good company, and a view worth admiring.

Just saw the owner on cbc tell the truth about how our own country hampers our success. Just made a new customer and its nice to know there are common sense business west of me in Alberta. Will defo stop by next time my wife and I visit friends in O.K. Falls.

Can’t say enough good things about this place! Ron & Tracy made our wine tasting the most effortless and enjoyable experience. We had the opportunity to sit outside with our group of 6 and take our time testing all of their amazing wines and learning the history behind them. We drank, talked, and laughed the entire time. Before we even noticed the time flew by and we had been talking and tasting wines for an hour and a half! The absolute best way for us to end the day. Will 100% be heading back for another tasting on our trip next year!

We arrived late in the afternoon and they were amazingly accommodating! Allowing us to taste 9 wines which is extremely generous. The setting is stunning and the wines were very good! Even the Chardonnay!

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Lightning Rock Winery!!!

We chose to host our wedding welcome party here, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our entire wedding weekend. The winery itself is absolutely gorgeous, with incredible views and such a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, but what truly makes this place special is Ron and Tracy.

They are genuinely two of the best people you’ll ever meet. From day one they were so easy to work with, incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and always willing to go the extra mile. They cared about every little detail and made us feel like they were just as invested in making our weekend perfect as we were. Throughout the planning process and on the day of the event, they went above and beyond in ways we never expected, and it made all the difference.

The evening couldn’t have gone any better. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the venue was, how amazing the wine was, and what an incredible atmosphere the winery has. It was the perfect place to kick off our wedding weekend.

If you’re looking for a wedding venue, rehearsal dinner, welcome party, or any special event space, I genuinely don’t think you can do better than Lightning Rock Winery. The combination of the stunning property, fantastic wine, and the exceptional hospitality from Ron and Tracy is hard to beat.

Thank you both for making such an important night of our lives absolutely perfect. We can’t wait to come back, not as wedding hosts next time, but as regular visitors to enjoy a glass of wine and remember an unforgettable weekend.

We recently had our daughter's wedding at this beautiful winery. The owners Ron and Tracy were very accommodating and just wonderful people. The bridal sweet was lovely, the grounds were clean and well maintained and the location had a spectacular view. We couldn't have asked for more. It was all absolutely perfect and beautiful. Thank you Tracy and Ron and all who assisted in making this such a special day for everyone! I highly recommend Lightning Rock Winery.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Must-Visit Okanagan Gem!
We were hosted by Ron Kubek and his team yesterday at Lightning Rock. We had a lovely day. What was so special was that they made us feel like old friends rather than just customers.

Ron is a master storyteller; his passion, humor, and insights into the winemaking process had all of us entertained throughout the tasting.

As for the wines themselves—delightful. We tasted some wonderful wines. Lightning Rock understands that wine is a personal experience and every one of us found a a bottle or two (ok a case) to take home.

If you are looking for delicious wines, stunning views, and top-tier hospitality that is both educational and incredibly fun, do not miss this spot. Thank you, Ron and team, for an unforgettable afternoon!

What a great experience here. Every wine we tasted was amazing. The best of the wineries we went to over our 2 day tour. All 3 of us agreed it was the best. And Jessica was so fun to talk with. She made the experience. The winery has some amazing views too. We liked it so much we ended to getting a membership so the wine keeps flowing, a first for us. We are definitely coming back every time we are in the area.

Cannot say enough great things about Lightning Rock! We visited as part of a friend's bachelorette weekend and it was unanimously our favourite tasting of the day. The wines were fantastic and Ron was an incredible host, offering knowledge, stories, and many laughs. We really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommend adding this winery to your next wine tour in Summerland!
